O/PURIST Tsipouro is a contemporary Greek spirit with a 42% ABV, crafted in Tyrnavos, Thessaly, at the Vasdavanos Distillery. Developed by ten renowned Greek bartenders, it reimagines traditional tsipouro for the modern bar scene. Produced through a meticulous double distillation process, it utilizes select Greek grape varieties—Malagouzia, Roditis, and Ugni Blanc—alongside a blend of local herbs, fruits, and spices, including arbutus, wild pear, quince, citrus peels, carob, and anise. This results in a crystal-clear spirit with delicate aromas of citrusy white grapes, pear, and subtle brown bread notes. On the palate, it offers a harmonious balance of fresh pear, white grape, and gentle spices, culminating in a mild honey and chocolate finish. Committed to sustainability, O/PURIST employs a circular production process, converting grape skins into biogas and biofertilizer, thereby minimizing environmental impact. A portion of its proceeds supports Metron Ariston, a non-profit organization promoting localization, responsible drinking, and the bartending community.
